What is giving tuesday?
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and support their communities.
It’s a day when everyone comes together to give back in all forms—acts of kindness, gifts of voice, time, talent, or treasure.

Join us as we work to create an Oregon where resources are connected, services are coordinated, and no child or family “falls through the cracks.”
Child abuse prevention is possible and we all have a role to play! At Prevent Child Abuse Oregon,
we believe in the power of partnership and collaboration.
we believe in the power of partnership and collaboration.
When you donate to Prevent Child Abuse Oregon you are donating to a movement and to a collective effort to improve health and safety for everyone in Oregon. Your support will go directly toward initiatives such as our Child Abuse Prevention Collaborative which brings together a diverse array of multi-disciplinary partners to drive a common voice and shared goals for child and family wellbeing.
You have the power to help us stop child abuse before it occurs. Child abuse prevention is about supporting families, building connections, creating opportunities and advocating for resources. There are endless ways that you can get involved, from donating to local child and family serving organizations to advocating for family-friendly policies in your workplace to simply showing up as a caring adult for the youth in your life.
When you donate to Prevent Child Abuse Oregon this Giving Tuesday you are supporting our efforts to help everyone in Oregon find their role in this work. Children are the future and now is the time to invest in them and to invest in the Oregon we want to see tomorrow.
